LeveTop, a startup consisting of experienced consumer drone engineers, has created an intelligent and portable autonomous drone. The LeveTop is a folding drone that features a compact, portable frame and a 1080P stabilized camera designed for everyday use. The intelligent drone can fly autonomously and has a 20 minute flight time. The UAV features a unique frame that folds into itself for the ultimate in portability.
LeveTop: The Ultimate Selfie Drone
In setting out to develop the LeveTop, the drones’ makers wanted to create an affordable UAV that you could take with you anywhere. It has a one click flight feature and autonomous GPS tracking. This means that even those with no experience flying a drone can just tap ‘fly’ and the UAV will take flight. In addition, the one-tap feature is aided by precision technology that allows it to take off and land itself.
There are also motion control and auto follow features, which is what makes LeveTop fully autonomous. With a digital camera equipped with cutting edge technology for crisp, hands-free footage and images, this drone can be described as the ultimate selfie-drone.
The only down side is its flight time, which is currently 20 minutes. Still, that comes in at around the industry standard for drones of this size. However, the drone’s batteries are removable and can therefore be swapped for extended periods of use.
The autonomous object tracking is what truly sets the LeveTop apart, a point that is especially prescient given others have tried and failed to achieve this before. A Geo-fence feature means you can give the drone boundaries you would like to fly within.
Most of all though, an ability to hover means your hands are free while you capture the images you want.

Ultimate Portability and Autonomous Flight
Shaped like a soft drink can, LeveTop has four foldable arms with propellers. This folding feature is what gives the UAV its portability and convenience. The drone is lightweight and compact and comes with a carry case that makes it easy to carry around.
Technical features include a 20 minute flight time, built-in Wi-Fi, and a 100 meter range. Add to that an FOV of 120 degrees and a maximum speed of 33 mph, and you’ve got yourself a nifty little piece of kit.
Powered by a removable LI-Po battery, all you have to do to get flying is to unfold the drones propeller arms and lock them into place.
LeveTop is both iOS and Android compatible and can be controlled through your smartphone. The UAV is not only great for being portable, its camera also captures high-resolution footage. Consequently this means that the drone is a great way to capture great images and video.
